The ÈÕ±¾ÎÞÂë Loughborough University Award covers a 3-12 month project for researching, lecturing or teaching in or across any research-active departments at the university.

We have two vibrant campuses, our 440-acre single-site Loughborough campus, in the heart of the Midlands, and our inspiring postgraduate London campus, based in the former press and broadcast centres at the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.Ìý

Loughborough has been awarded 5 stars for research as part of the QS Stars University Ratings 2024. According to the latest REF (2021), 91% of Loughborough University’s research is now ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally-excellent’.Ìý

All levels of scholar post PhD, including early-career, mid-career or senior academics.Ìý

Grant amount

£3000 per month

This funding is intended as a contribution towards US-UK travel, institutional fees, accommodation, and general maintenance costs while in the UK.

Relocation AllowanceÌý

$1500 stipendÌý

Dependent BenefitsÌý

Scholars accompanied by eligible dependents for the full duration of the programme may receive a one-time dependent allowance of $1800 for one dependent or $2500 for two or more dependents. This will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for any Scholars on a grant for less than 6 months.Ìý
